Cannes is one of the stunning seaside towns on the French Riviera. It has the amazing Croisette, the promenade that hugs the Bay of Cannes, which is world famous for its beauty, luxury and charm. Many restaurants, cafes and shops line the Croisette and are perfect places to sit, enjoy a drink and watch the scene. The beaches are soft sand, great for families with children. There are both private beaches with sun loungers and umbreallas, and puclic beaches.
In addition to the activities and sites to visit in Cannes, there is also a great excursion not to miss, a trip to Les Îles de Lérins, just a 20 minute boat ride from the small port in Cannes.
There are 2 islands to visit. The smaller island is Ste Honorat, which has a monastery and wonderful ruined castle directly on the water. The monks sell monastery-made food/drink products like wine which make unique souvenirs. The larger island is Ste Marguerite which also has a fort/castle - great for exploring, and shops, bars, and restaurants. Both islands are exceptionally beautiful and tranquil. A perfect place to go enjoy a picnic or lunch at a restaurant and a swim in the crystal clear water. Overall a lovely excursion close by, but which feels like a completely different place and time.

There are 7 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a very nice living area and dining area on the ground floor and even a lovely garden area with small pool. Perfect for a group of friends or large family getting together for a holiday in the South of France.
